EVERY SATURDAY, all year long from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM (Winter hours 9:00 - noon) gardeners, crafters, artists and hobby farmers are chatting with customers and neighbors at Oriental Farmers' Market. On Hodges Street between South Water and the Oriental Harbor, creative people are selling home-made baked goods, hand-made craft items, and vegetables, eggs, preserves and plants, all locally grown, produced and created. You will also find organically raised chicken and meats. Lookers are as welcome as shoppers and in summer everyone comes early to get the freshest tomatoes and greens before the booths are even set up.
